How to make cream cheese frosting

This cream cheese frosting is truly the ultimate. The slight tang is perfect for anything from the traditional carrot cake or red velvet cake, but also pairs well with a simple vanilla sponge cake or chocolate cupcakes. The frosting can be spread or piped, depending on the final look you want to achieve. You can use a total of 500g cream cheese in this recipe instead of both cream cheese and mascarpone.
